Meet the Leadership Team

Marlene Tate is currently the Director of Business Development at Sparrow Hospice.

Marlene has served in hospice for over 16 years. She began her career in hospice 16 years ago following a brief career in home health. She believes hospice is not a job, but a calling. Marlene understands the importance of educating the community as well as families on the services that hospice provides to ease their any misconceptions of what hospice is. It is her passion to help families in one of the most important parts of their loved one’s journey. Marlene chose Sparrow Hospice because of the vision and values demonstrated by each team member daily. She is proud to be part of a team with such astounding dignity and compassion.

Marlene loves her husband, 5 children and 14 grandchildren. In her spare time, Marlene can be found with her church family in Wills Point, TX, where her husband is Senior Pastor serving alongside extended family.
